Statt die Erstellung eines zweiten Autotunnels auf der Höhenlage von 1100 m ü. M. zu projektieren, sollte die Kapazität des Eisenbahn-Basistunnels auf dem Niveau von 470 bzw. 330 m ü. M. auch für den Autoverlad genutzt und dadurch die Umweltbelastung in Uri und in der Leventina sowie der Gesamtenergieverbrauch gesenkt werden.<\/p><p>Der Bundesrat wird eingeladen, in die Projektierung des Eisenbahn-Basistunnels auf der Gotthardlinie gemäss Alpentransit-Beschluss den Autoverlad einzuplanen und damit die Kapazitäten zu nutzen, die auf der Tunnelstrecke bei entsprechender Ausgestaltung höher liegen werden als auf den Zufahrten.
